FY27 Appropriations Request Form

Programmatic and Language Requests – FY 2027

Each year, Congress considers and enacts annual appropriations bills, which provides the federal government with the funding it needs to operate. Members of Congress may make requests to the Appropriations Committee that are programmatic in nature, or for language changes. For your request(s) to be given consideration, you must complete this form for each programmatic funding and/or bill or report language request no later than 5:00pm EST, March 6, 2026. Please submit each request individually. Multiple requests in one submission WILL NOT be considered.

  • Programmatic Requests fund a specific program or activity in the bill at a specified level.
  • Language Requests include specific bill or report language that does not direct funding to a particular entity but encourages, urges, or directs some type of action.

Community Project Funding Requests – FY 2027

Community Project Funding allows Members of Congress to request direct federal funding for projects that benefit the communities they represent. For your request(s) to be given consideration, you must complete this form for each funding request no later than 5:00pm EST, March 6, 2026. Please submit each request individually. Multiple requests in one submission WILL NOT be considered.

**Please note: Non-profits are not eligible for Community Project Funding in the T-HUD Economic Development Initiative (EDI) account. This decision was made by the Appropriations Committee Republican Majority. Certain non-profits are able to request funding under the CJS Byrne Justice Assistance Grant account or LHHSE Health Resources and Services Administration account. Please read non-profit eligibility guidance prior to submitting a project.
