Meeks and his colleagues in the House of Representatives voted on and passed HR 3692, “The Affordable Health Care for America Act,” the House healthcare reform legislation that proposes to ensure that every American has access to quality, affordable healthcare.

(WASHINGTON, DC)–Today, Congressman Gregory W. Meeks voted in favor of H.R. 3548, the Unemployment Compensation Extension Act, which will extend unemployment benefits, homebuyer tax credit and tax cuts for families and businesses.

(WASHINGTON, DC)– Today, Congressman Gregory W. Meeks voted in favor of the Expedited Card Reform for Consumers Act that will accelerate critical reforms that will protect consumers against harmful practices by credit card companies.

This legislation will prevent against predatory lending practices and make sure that American consumers get the proper information they need to make informed financial decisions.
