Meeks, of the 6th Congressional District, will host a town hall with representatives from the Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) and the Small Business Administration (SBA) to address individuals, renters, home owners, businesses and not-for-profits affected by the August 8, 2007 storm that caused severe flooding and tornadoes in Queens County.

The resolution also expressed continued support for a strong bilateral relationship between the United States and Malaysia in such areas as counter-terrorism, counter-narcotics and trade.
