U.S. Rep Gregory W. Meeks Statement on the Attack in France

Washington, D.C. - Congressman Gregory W. Meeks released the following statement regarding the terrorist attack in Paris, France today:

"I categorically condemn in the strongest possible terms the terrorist attack on the offices of Charlie Hebdo magazine in Paris which left 12 dead and others injured. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims, the survivors, their families, and the people of France during this time of mourning.

"Whenever and wherever such heinous attacks take place, we are all victims. The United States and all nations around the world who believe in a just, democratic world free from the threats of violence on the innocent stand in solidarity with France today. I thank President Obama for pledging America’s support. We will not stop until these terrorists are brought to justice."
