Congressman Meeks Accepts Community Project Funding Requests for FY24
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rep. Gregory W. Meeks (NY-05) announced that his office is accepting Appropriations requests for Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24), including Community Project Funding (CPF) and programmatic requests. The deadline for submissions is Friday, March 17, 2023, at 5 p.m. Late or incomplete requests may not be accepted or considered.
“My office is providing organizations with the opportunity to request funding to implement significant projects and activities that have a direct impact to the residents in New York’s 5th Congressional District,” said Congressman Gregory W. Meeks.
Members of Congress are limited to requesting funds for 15 total Community Project Funding requests, so this process will be highly competitive.
The CPF program is being implemented with accountability measures to ensure a responsible and transparent process. As required by House rules regarding transparency, Congressman Meeks will post the 15 projects submitted to the Committee on his website. All information submitted by a requesting organization is considered public information.
Only eligible CPF requests that meet all the guidelines established by the Appropriations Committee will be accepted and considered. Visit the House Appropriations Committee website to review the guidelines.
